Grown-up Christmas List

I've been listening to the local "Warm" station that goes into 24/7 Christmas mode this month, and this song has been getting to me.

My grown up Christmas list:

no more lives torn apart, 
and wars would never start,
and time would heal all hearts.
Every one would have a friend,
and right would always win,
and love would never end.
This is my grown up Christmas list, 
this is my only life-long wish,
