My girl doesn't like going outside in the wet and the cold, so we've set up a Nature Study observation post in the kitchen window seats. :)

I love birds. I keep my birding books on the desk by the window too. I have a feeder there to make it easier to see a variety of birds. The boys love it and have learned plenty from inside nature studies.
