Spring Has Sprung...

Happy Spring everyone! I'm more than ready to celebrate this new season, so this week I plan to have a post a day showing the signs of spring!

Here's a big sign of spring around here:

They are not sick - those are turkins, also known as "naked necks".

    Sooo cute - are they joining your backyard flock? We have a turkin, and love that silly-looking bird :)

    Yes, they will join our backyard flock, except for one that my mother would like to have in her flock for the variety. With one thing and another, I was down to three chickens - time for some new spring chicks!

    Have fun! My boys are asking for more chicks this spring, but we have no room at the inn :)
